Each year the Great Bay Foundation hosts a conference, by invitation only, of grantees, potential grantees and friends of the foundation where there is opportunity for networking, exchange of ideas, peer learning, and presentations often accompanied with skill-building workshops. Usually the Foundation hosts a reception the night before the conference to which all attendees are invited. This provides an opportunity for networking and renewing old friendships.
The reception, accomodations at an inn or hotel, and the conference is offered at no cost to the attendees.
The 2007 Conference was held at Wentworth by the Sea, New Castle, New Hampshire. The topic was: "Social Enterprise: Mission (no matter how laudable) Is Not Enough to Effect Long-Term Social Change."
